Psychiatric Diagnostic Evalutation
Psychiatric Diagnostic Evaluation with Medical Services This is an initial diagnostic interview exam for an adult or adolescent patient that includes medical services. This evaluation may include discussion with family or other sources in addition to the patient

Outpatient office visit for evaluation and management of an established patient, which detailed history, a detailed examination and medical decision making are present to determine the best course of treatment.

Medication-assisted treatment combines behavioral therapy and medications to treat substance use addiction. This means that treatment for individuals with opioid (and other) addictions could include FDA-approved medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use addiction.

ADD & ADHD Clinic
Our ADD and ADHD clinic isrun by Varsha Desai, MD, Pediatrician. Dr. Varsha Desai comes to us with years of experience diagnosing and managing ADD and ADHD for children and adolescents in the Roanoke Valley. Your current Pediatrician can send a referral and last physical for Dr. Desai to review. The attached questionnaire needs to be completed in advance and brought to the appointment. She specializes in medication management for hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattentive types while working as a team with the child's current doctor, teachers, counselors and parents.

SPRAVATO® REMS CERTIFIED OUTPATIENT CLINIC
SPRAVATO® (esketamine) CIII Nasal Spray is indicated, in conjunction with an oral antidepressant, for
the treatment of:

Treatment-resistant depression (TRD) in adults.

Depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with acute suicidal ideation or behavior.
SPRAVATO® is not for use as a medicine to prevent or relieve pain (anesthetic). It is not known if SPRAVATO® is safe or effective as an anesthetic medicine.
It is not known if SPRAVATO® is safe and effective for use in preventing suicide or in reducing suicidal thoughts or actions. SPRAVATO® is not for use in place of hospitalization if your healthcare provider determines that hospitalization is needed, even if improvement is experienced after the first dose of SPRAVATO®.
